Cork Fashion Week 2012

Cork Fashion Week was founded in 2008 by Lockdown Events & Model Management, a dynamic young company whose two directors are themselves former runway and photographic models. The event has become hugely successful, with attendance figures growing to over 1,000 visitors per year.

Cork Fashion Week provides a platform for young fashion designers as well as established fashion brands and has become synonymous with high fashion in the Munster region.

Shows during the week are designed to give graduate and student designers a national platform for their designs as well as promoting local boutiques, stylists, make-up artists and hair stylists. Guests judges for the prestigious ‘CFW Designer of the Year Award’ have included Peter O’Brien, Ann Marie O’Connor, Mia O’Connell, Jennifer Rothwell and Emma Connolly.
